The cost of an I.D. system has been the biggest reason many dairies have not invested in milk metering technology. Transponders are a large portion of an I.D. system’s cost; so at less than $4.00 each, NuPulse’s ear tag transponders change that scenario. Even on farms with several thousands of cows, the I.D. system is affordable.

Automatic I.D. and Computer Interface

Micro-chip technology developed by Texas Instruments has been combined with the experience of Allflex to develop the ear tag transponders which can be economically manufactured in high volumes. The RFID eartags are also approved for the National Animal Identification Program.

The micro-chip technology has also been incorporated into the antennas used at each stall in the parlor to read the transponders. Available in three styles to accommodate different stall types, the antennas are tough and durable.

Sort Gate Antenna

NuPulse has developed a Sort Gate System that works with both the RFID Eartags but also with the milk meters and software program.
